The many activities available from Walvis Bay, dolphin cruises, 4 X 4 tours to Sandwich Harbour, kayak, quad bike, will keep you busy for at least 3 days. Swakopmund, only 35 kms away is easily reachable by tarred road for visiting the town, the museums and shopping.
The revigorating Atlantic sea weather is a nice break from the heat of the inland of Namibia allowing you pleasant night rest.

At the entrance of Walvis Bay, at the circle with palm trees, go straight on union street, following the signs Sandwich Harbour
When you see the Tourism Office in front of you, turn right and go on until the traffic lights.
Turn left and go straight on, in the distance, you will see a big bright yellow house on your left, the lagoon is on your right : here you are !
