Mopane Camp

The camp is built on the high, steep banks of a dry river, which is one of the tributaries of the Hoarusib river. The tents are built in the shade of large Mopane trees.

Please note that there is no electricity available at Mopane Camp.
The camp is quiet , with no sounds of generators to disturb the peace and tranquility.

Dinner served in the open air boma, where there is also a fully equipped bar and a cozy camp fire. There is a beautiful swimming pool where you may relax on hot summer afternoons.

The camp is situated in a beautiful, peaceful and quiet area. There is a large variety of birds in and around the camp all contributing to a continuous natural orchestra . Permanent residents of the camp are small spotted genets. At night guests go to sleep with the sound of a variety of owls hooting and the calling of jackals.

We work closely with the community on whose land the Camp is built.
