Swakopmund Municipal Restcamp

The well established Swakopmund Municipal Restcamp offers 200 different sized Rest Houses for self-caterers. All Bungalows are fully equipped with bedding, hotplate, fridge and barbeque facilities ( however, no towels are supplied). Some of the larger bungalows offer garages, otherwise there are car-ports and enough space for cars (and trailers) next to the unit. The Rest Houses reflect characteristic Namibian names like: Fish, Gecko, Welwitschia, Dunes, Spitzkoppe, Moon Valley, Brandberg. Confirmed reservations have to be pre-paid to guarantee the rooms. Bungalows are offered at a very reasonable price range of between ZAR/N$ 320 and ZAR/N$ 1350. Rates differ slightly in peak season times 15th June- 15th July, during public holidays, over long weekends and between 20th Dec and 5th Jan. A key deposit is necessary. Swakopmund city centre, the beach , restaurants and shops are all within walking distance.
