Umvuvu Tented River Lodge.

Lies approx 24km east of Katima Mulilo and is situated on 25 acres of tropical paradise which includes tropical bush, grassland and an ancient woodland beside a tranquil Zambezi backwater.It is one of the few lodges accessible during the annual flooding of the Zambezi.
We offer four self-catering, well-spaced en-suite tents (+budget tent - great for kids with private ablution close by)
Majestic indigenous trees shade campsites which boast well-appointed ablutions. Up to 35 people can be accommodated. Each site has a braai (BBQ) and rustic table.
Twitchers are assured of a memorable experience,(with +450 species of birds in the region)in three distinct birding zones.
Unwind on a sundowner cruise, go fishing from bank or boat (tigers, bream, pike, squeakers & catfish are among the +96 species in the river)
During the winter months elephants are regular visitors and hippos are ever-present.
