Sossusvlei Lodge is located on a private 44 000 hectare reserve, just outside both the entrances of the Namib Naukluft Park and the dunes at Sossusvlei.
The main complex of the lodge has a reception with courtesy beverage bar; adventure center; observation tower; dining and grill areas; chlorinated fresh water swimming pool and bar. Ther eis also a guest telephone available. The lodge's curio shop has a stock of books on the area; postcards; African art jewelery; lodge branded clothing; films; camera batteries; sunglasses and sunscreen. There are also laundry facilities available at the lodge.
The lodge has both indoor and outdoor conference facilities and the conference center can accommodate up to 100 people and is fully equipped with all modern visual aids.
The lodge serves a continental or full English breakfast; a buffet or a la carte luncheon. Meal options include soup of the day; fresh salads; cold meats; poultry; vegetables; stir-fries; puddings; tarts; cheese & biscuits as well as hot and cold beverages.
Accommodation at the lodge consists of 45 rooms which have adobe walls, tiled floors and canvas roofs. The rooms all have en-suite bathrooms and can accommodate up to two people each in three-quarter beds. Rooms also have a fan; wardrobe and a veranda with a seating area.
Activities include nature walks; Sossusvlei excursions; nature drives; sun-downers; eco-quad biking; quad bike breakfast runs and desert scenic flights.
