Mowani Mountain Lodge is situated east of Twyfelfontein on the D2612 road.
Mowani offers the following accommodation options:
- Six standard rooms with valley views;
- Six standard view rooms with hill top vistas;
- One luxury room;
- Two luxury suites; and
- Seven campsites with private ablution facilities.
Adrift in own universe, it is easy to forget that nestled between the ancient granite boulders and paths connecting it all together are 12 thatch en-suite rooms - each accommodating a story of their own. The private suite is the ultimate retreat. Here you can enjoy uninterrupted views, dinner on the private deck or throwing caution to the wind in the open-air bathroom! An additional indoor bathroom and luxuriously furbished African flavoured lounge further compliments the accommodation - made for a king... in hiding!
There are plenty of ways to relax at Mowani Mountain Camp. Discover the pool deck - lodged between the boulders - where you can soak up the sun whilst enjoying a refreshing drink and admiring breathtaking views. Adventures and activities available at Mowani include guided nature drives in search of the elusive desert elephant and hiking through magnificent scenery or explore the historical site of Twyfelfontein. Twyfelfontein is a rare example of Bushmen engravings and paintings. This wonderful archeological site offers more than 2 500 engravings, as well as various paintings, and is probably the finest example of rock engravings in Southern Africa.
