Regulations & Industry Services
In our constant pursuit of professional service provision, the Namibia Tourism Board proudly makes the recently launched tourism regulations available online here .
These regulations aim to improve upon and maintain the quality of tourism products available by levelling the playing field and ensuring that the needs and expectations of our visitors are catered fro by sincere operators.
In addition to private-sector involvement in developing these standards, trade comparisons were drawn from both the SADC region and globally to ensure that our standards conform with the highest current international trends and practices.
All marketing efforts to sustain Namibia's favourable reputation as a quality tourist destination are in vain if they cannot be supported by sustainable resources. The tourism levy is one mechanism to fund such initiatives. The levy formula, which is the basis for calculating the levy amount payable to the NTB, was issued by the Ministry of Environment and Tourism after extensive consultations with the private tourism industry and other relevant government Ministries and agencies.
Submission of application forms by mail / hand delivery only.
